The Ministry of Guitar is one of Asia's largest Private collections of high end guitars and dream guitars. Our Collection currently contains 90+ instruments from Gibson Custom Shop, Fender Custom Shop, PRS Private Stock, some choice Vintage instruments, Musicman Ball Family Reserve, Mayones, ESP Custom and many more

 

The  "Dream Guitar Library" is a World's First Singapore Only Service for Guitarists to have access to play some of the finest Electric Guitars ever made   

 

Do tonewoods matter? Try it for yourself. How different do different brands feel played back to back? Does an expensive guitar feel 10 times better than a cheap guitar? Are Custom shops really worth it? All the answers await you. In the Ministry of Guitar, you can play all the guitars to your heart's content without any pressure of buying or other people noodling loudly around you, as you would find in a guitar store.

HOW DOES THE DREAM GUITAR LIBRARY WORK?

You can RENT Guitars from the Ministry of Guitar Collection in flexible leases (from 1 day to 1 Month)  See below for how

RENTAL CONDITIONS

  • The Dream Guitar Collection is available for Rental in Singapore only in flexible durations 

  • Experience fees and deposit for each of the Guitars in the collection are as per the Collection Page

  • There are 4 categories of Guitars “Gold", "Silver", "Bronze" and Platinum

  • “Platinum" Guitars can only be rented by Singapore Residents​​

USAGE/BOOKING/DAMAGE/DEPOSIT LOSS POLICY​

  • All Guitars are in pre-defined Tunings available in Guitar Description. Please don’t retune the guitar beyond drop D (excluding locking nut guitars where no retuning allowed)

  • Damage Policy: We appreciate incidents and accidents happen sometimes even the best of intentions hence the Deposit will be used against damage. In case of damage, please disclose it to us in good faith and we will in good faith either waive (if damage is extremely minor like small surface scratches) or minimise deduction from deposit . Undisclosed damage will result in forfeit of deposit and additional liability if deposit does not cover.

  • Loss Policy: In the event of Loss, the Borrowing Party will be liable for the full value of the instrument or the loss will be prosecuted as theft under Singapore Law against the Borrowing Party. It is your responsibility to safeguard the instrument when under your possession

  • Deposit and Payment Policy: Payment and Deposit will be due at Handover of Instrument for Experience Lease. Deposit is fully REFUNDABLE (if no instrument damage) and will be returned within 4 days of Instrument Return in order to facilitate Instrument Condition Check.

FAQS

 

1) Can I Rent more than one Guitar at once?

Yes you can. But it is first come first serve and subject to availability

 

2) Can I rent a Guitar longer than one Month?

Yes, depending on availability and with some deposit top up.

​

3) Am I allowed to take the Guitar out of Singapore?

No, taking the guitar out of Singapore is strictly not allowed for security reasons

 

4) Can I gig or jam with the Guitar?

Yes of course, but please let Ministry of Guitar know so we can help you with pre-cautions to safeguard the instrument

 

5) I accidentally damaged the guitar? What do I do?

Accidents happen. We understand and the key is transparency. Please let us know in good faith and we will do our best to only deduct the bare minimum from your deposit. Your membership will not be cancelled

 

However if you don’t let us know and try to hide the damage, we will find out as each guitar is expertly inspected after every Lease. Your membership will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited

 

6) Are other people allowed to play the guitar while I am borrowing it?

Absolutely. Sharing is caring and we love encouraging the Guitar playing hobby. That said, the liability of the guitar remains yours so just ask the person to exercise the same due care.

 

7) If I fall in love with a Guitar, can I buy it?

As a policy the guitars are not for sale. But if you really find the one, we can have a discussion
